Spanish Courses

Do I need to buy any books/material?

All the necessary course material and/or coursebook are included in the course fees, so you do not need to worry about anything else.

You will receive all material on the start day and it will include a coursebook, tailored course material and a Certificate of Participation on completion of the course.

Do I have to pay the course fees upfront?

Due to the nature of group courses and in order to prepare all course material for you, a place can be reserved by a one-off upfront payment through our Booking section.

Once you have enrolled on a course you will receive an email confirmation with any further information.

Can I cancel my enrolment?

We have a fair refund policy in place and in case something goes wrong you will be titled to a full refund for the course fees, or the option of transferring on to a next available course.

Please see our full T&C for more information about our refund policy.

How do I know which is the right level?

If you are not sure which course level is right for you then our online Spanish Level test can give you an idea which course to choose.

Our intensive courses follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages where A1 & A2 are beginner levels, B1 & B2 intermediate and C1 & C2 advanced/mastery levels.

What is included in the price?

The price includes all necessary material that you will need to successfully complete the course, so you will not need to prepare or bring anything with you.

The difference between the Beginners Course & the Intensive Courses?

Unlike the Intensive Courses, the Beginners Spanish Course is an introduction into Spanish language and does not follow a level-based study, but prepares you with the basic communication skills in order to "survive" in a Spanish speaking country.

The Beginners Course has less hours then the Intensive Courses and takes place on weekends. Due to not following a level-based study a certificate is not issued for this course.

When to choose the Beginners Course instead of the Intensive Courses?

Choose this course if you have no previous experience with Spanish language and wish to start with a brief introductory course.

As the name states, this course is ideal for holiday preparations or for those who wish to start studying Spanish as a hobby, and it is also a great gift idea for family, friends, and colleagues.

What are the options if I want to continue after this course?

If you wish to continue learning Spanish after this course you could consider our Spanish Tuition lessons either on a 1-2-1 or 2-2-1 basis. You can also team up with other course students for mini-group lessons, or join one of the Intensive Courses.

If you are not sure which option is best for you then please contact us and we will be happy to advise further.

Are Student Support lessons personalised?

Yes. Student Support lessons are essentially private lessons conducted by qualified Spanish teachers who will design the classes according to the student's needs.

For example: GCSE exam preparation, oral practice, help for University coursework or A-Levels, etc.

How many lessons are recommended?

There is no incorrect answer for that as it depends entirely on the student's specific needs.

We have had students taking a few lessons over half-terms to prepare for their GCSEs, and we have also had students taking on-going support sessions for university or schoolwork.

If you are not sure how many lessons you/your child needs, please contact us and we will be happy to help.

Can I try out a Free Lesson for Student Support?

Yes of course. This is a perfect opportunity for you to explain your goals and requirements for your teacher and it can also help him/her to design the best possible course of lessons to achieve your goals.

Do you also offer support lessons for DELE?

Yes. Our qualified and native Spanish tutors can help you to achieve best results with DELE.

How early can my child start learning Spanish?

We do not have a specific age limit for our private Spanish lessons for Children as the age recommendations vary from school to school.

If unsure, the Free Trial Lesson offers a great opportunity to see how well your child responds to language study.

Is it possible to have lessons together with my child?

Yes, and in fact we encourage this way of starting to learn Spanish, because not only will your child feel more comfortable in the lessons, but also it gives parents a good chance to spend more time together and connect leisure with learning.

Are your teachers qualified to teach children?

Yes. Our teachers are university graduates and are qualified in children education along with extensive experience in the field.

What are the benefits of language learning from an early age?

They will have a strong advantage when they start school/college and you will be providing them the chance of becoming bilingual in the future.

Longitudinal studies by Harvard University confirm that learning additional languages increases critical thinking skills, creativity and flexibility of the mind in young children, not mentioning the enormous increase in future career opportunities.
